We pride ourselves on offering a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes while maintaining high-quality standards. Job Overview: Ekanto Apon is seeking a versatile and experienced Indian Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and the ability to handle multiple culinary tasks efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Prepare authentic Kolkata-style Biryani with traditional flavors Ensure the quality and presentation of all food served. Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory, including ordering and stock rotation. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Handle customer feedback and adjust recipes as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI standards. Control wastage of raw materials and monitor kitchen inventory. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in Indian kitchens. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Formal culinary training or relevant certifications. Experience in menu development and costing. Familiarity with local ingredients and traditional recipes.
