Job Description

Liaison & comply statutory requirements with various Government department like Dy. Director of Industrial Safety and Health, GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board), GIDC (Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation), Narcotics Control Bureau and Explosives departments. Liaison with various Non-Government organization like DPMC (Disaster Prevention & Management Center), BEIL (Bharuch Environ Infrastructure Limited), RSPL (Recycling Solution Private Limited) & DEFS (Dahej Eco Friendly Society). Manage work permit system like hot work, height work & confined space work etc. Advising and assisting the management in fulfillment obligations of its concerning to accident prevention and maintain safe working environment. Helping the site management in effective implementation of EHS (Environment Health & Safety) plan. Ensuring availability of adequate FIRST AID BOX and trained personnel for effective use. Ensure and Co ordinate proper medical facility to all employees at site. Ensure effectiveness of firefighting facility like fire hydrant & monitor system, fire alarm system and various types of portable fire extinguishers. Fallow up the suggested measures during the third party safety audit for implementation. Preparing safety SOPs, safety rules & checklist for all round safety. To carry out safety induction training, firefighting training, mock drill, and first aid training by external certified doctors or agencies. Celebrate various safety & environment activities. Ensure the various waste management system compliance with laws. Identify the unsafe act & conditions and report to management on regular basis for implementation and also authorize to stop the work. Organize safety committee meetings and implement the points discussed in the meeting Ensure usage of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipments) by all the personnel in the factory premises. Responsible for ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) & STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) operation & monitoring for its smooth operation, documents, signing and record keeping. Responsible for QMS activity and quality management review, quality risk management. To ensure the data are complete, consistent and accurate throughout the data life cycle. Destruction of rejected material as per GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board) norms. To carry out site acceptance test (SAT) as and when required. Responsible to request for document issuance, retrieval in the Document Control System (DCS) software. Responsible to view of document in Document Control System (DCS) software. Responsible for document shredding procedure. Handling of TRIMS and responsible for TRIMS related all activity of EHS department. Responsible to handle the software related to the activities mentioned in the job responsibility based on satisfactory training and rights/access control.
