The Network & Telecom Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all company networks and telephony configurations. You will work with a wide area network (WAN) consisting of 106 sites across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and India using Fortinet SDWAN design. The company has migrated the Cisco phone system to the Cisco Cloud, utilizing Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center. You will collaborate with a 3rd party managed services organization for support. You should be results-driven and self-motivated to manage multiple tasks, projects, and workload. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to support production facilities, warehouses, and sales centers. The ideal candidate will challenge the status quo, work both independently and as a team player, and possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-centric focus on Service Availability. Responsibilities include providing primary support for the WAN/LAN/WLAN environment, managing Cisco networking, telephony products, and SIP-trunking architectures. You will need 5-10 years of experience in large-scale networking environments and managing Cisco hardware components. A Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent is preferred. Proficiency in Fortinet SDWAN technologies, Cisco wireless networks, and on-prem Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers is necessary. You will collaborate with network support vendors and partners, maintain network and device diagrams, monitor performance, and implement changes following company policies. Troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark and managing IP schemes, DHCP scopes, and DNS records are essential. Experience with DDI management platforms and firmware upgrades on Cisco network infrastructure is required. Beneficial skills include CCNA, CCIE certifications, Solarwinds, knowledge of Meraki and F5 Load Balancers, and experience with Cisco Cloud telephony. As a DDI L3 Engineer at TSC Redefines Connectivity with Innovation and Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in managing customer devices and end-to-end services related to DDI operations. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring customer SLAs and network uptime are maintained at committed levels. You will provide Level-3 technical support for migration activities and handle queries from L2 engineers. It will be essential for you to take complete ownership of DDI-related issues and queries, providing effective resolutions in a timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the performance of the entire DDI network, including its elements. This will involve fixing any issues, performing migration activities, recommending system improvements, carrying out preventative maintenance, and analyzing network performance to ensure optimal functioning. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors and internal support teams to update, maintain, and patch all network infrastructure. Creating and maintaining design documents, implementing DDI deployments and upgrades, and testing new releases within the account will be part of your responsibilities. You will also define and maintain infrastructure configurations, work with account teams or clients to apply new DDI service offerings according to business needs, and ensure data integrity of production, backup, and DRA Enterprise database. As a DDI L3 Engineer, you will be expected to provide 24-hour on-call support for TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP issue escalations. Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience with DNS and Enterprise alliances like Infoblox, Nokia Vital QIP, Efficient IP, and Bind are key competencies required for this role. Proficiency in Linux/UNIX skills, managing servers, networks, subnets, and objects, and network troubleshooting tasks are essential. You should have a good understanding of LAN switching technologies, firewalls, and experience in configuring Infoblox, VitalQIP, and Efficient IP appliances for DNS and DHCP services. Relevant LAN/WAN certifications are considered a plus. The ideal candidate for this role is an Engineering Graduate who is open to working in flexible shifts to meet the demands of the position.,
