Education Counselor

Reports To: Admissions Manager / Head of Counseling

Job Summary:

The Education Counselor at NIRA (National Institute of Robotics & Artificial Intelligence) will be responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through academic program options, admission procedures, and career pathways. The role requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of industry-oriented programs, and the ability to convert inquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents about NIRA’s wide range of programs in Robotics, AI, STEM, and industry-focused courses.
• Handle inquiries through walk-ins, calls, emails, and online platforms, ensuring timely responses.
• Conduct career guidance sessions to match student aspirations with suitable courses.
• Assist in the admissions process, including application support, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Participate in outreach activities, education fairs, webinars, and workshops to promote NIRA programs.
• Maintain accurate student databases, follow up on leads, and achieve admission targets.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to stay updated on program features, curriculum, and outcomes.
• Provide pre- and post-admission support, ensuring a smooth student experience.
• Prepare regular reports on counseling activities, lead conversion, and admissions progress.
• Uphold NIRA’s mission of promoting STEM education and industry-readiness in every counseling interaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably in Education, Management, or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or education services.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to guide students with clarity on career opportunities in Robotics, AI, and STEM.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
