EDM machine Operator

Role & Responsibilities:

• Operate EDM (Die-Sinking / Wirecut) machines for precision tool and mold manufacturing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool designs, and CAD models.
• Set up electrodes, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and qualityEnsure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality of machined parts.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and electrode management.
• Maintain proper records of job completion, tool wear, and machine utilization.
• Work in coordination with toolmakers, designers, and QC team to meet deadlines.
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualification (Education):

• ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical / Machining.
• Preferably from NTTF / CIPET / GTTC / Govt. ITI or equivalent.

Experience Required:

• 2–5 years hands-on experience in operating EDM (Wirecut / Die-Sinking) machines.
• Knowledge of electrodes, spark erosion process, and machining parameters.
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM programming preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
