About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Define and execute a content roadmap across various categories 2. Lead and mentor the editorial and copywriting team producing 50+ articles daily 3. Uphold a tone that is relatable, vibrant, and inspirational 4. Oversee agency-led content with stringent quality control 5. Write and edit high-impact articles, blogs, and web copy 6. Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, fact-checked, and culturally relevant 7. Develop engaging formats like listicles, how-to guides, trend reports, and RJ-led stories 8. Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Ahrefs 9. Optimize content for keywords, readability, and engagement 10. Leverage data insights to refine strategy and drive organic traffic growth 11. Repurpose long-form content into social-first formats like Reels and X threads 12. Support the Product Manager in developing sales collateral for advertisers 13. Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop content for user engagement initiatives 14. Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with key events like festive campaigns and fashion weeks 15. Ensure consistent delivery of daily updates and weekly spotlight features 16. Manage agency partnerships to ensure quality and timely content within budget 17. Manage content production timelines to ensure daily updates and weekly spotlights are delivered on schedule 18. Report content performance and strategy updates to the Product Manager 19. Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure compliance such as disclaimers for health content and image copyrights Requirements: 1. Hold a master's degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred 2. Possess 7+ years of editorial experience including 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in digital lifestyle content 3. Demonstrate the ability to create and edit SEO-optimized content 4. Have a deep understanding of digital content strategy including social media integration and audience engagement 5. Be experienced with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Ahrefs 6. Exhibit excellent writing and editing skills across blogs, website copy, and marketing assets 7. Show a successful track record in managing teams with an emphasis on mentorship and quality control 8. Be familiar with the Indian digital lifestyle landscape and urban consumer preferences 9. Be proficient in CMS platforms and editorial tools like Grammarly and Hemingway 10.
