Edible Refinery Operator

As an Edible Refinery Operator at our facility in Gandhidham, Gujarat, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the equipment in the Edible Oil Refinery department. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and safety of the products processed by the refinery. Your key responsibilities will include operating various equipment such as neutralizers, bleach filters, and deodorizers, while maintaining process parameters in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will be required to control pumps, valves, and heaters during refining operations to ensure smooth and efficient processing. It will be essential for you to promptly detect and report any equipment malfunctions or process abnormalities that may occur during your shift. You will also be responsible for recording operational data and maintaining shift logs for future reference. Adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards, including compliance with FSSAI guidelines, will be crucial in this role. Effective coordination with maintenance and quality teams will be necessary to ensure the seamless operation of the refinery. To excel in this position, you should have a basic understanding of edible oil refinery processes and equipment operation. The ability to read process diagrams and operate control panels will be beneficial for carrying out your duties effectively. Being alert and responsive to process variations, as well as possessing good communication and team coordination skills, will be key to your success in this role.
