EDI Specialist

As the System Support Associate at this company, you will play a crucial role in implementing and modifying EDI file feeds for healthcare data integration. Your expertise in programming languages like C#, Java, Python, and SQL will be utilized to ensure the smooth transfer of sensitive patient data through secure SFTP connections. Your understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and US healthcare industry regulations will be vital in maintaining industry standards while integrating data feeds into the systems. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and modify EDI file feeds for healthcare/benefits data integration. - Develop and maintain solutions using C#, Java, Python, and SQL. - Create, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain secure SFTP connections for transferring EDI files. - Gather specifications from clients, carriers & vendors to deliver tailored solutions. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and US healthcare industry standards. - Communicate effectively with clients and carriers. Qualifications & Core Competencies: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (B. Tech preferred). - 2-5 years of proven expertise in EDI implementation. - Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, and SQL for managing EDI integrations. - Experience in configuring and managing SFTP connections. - Good understanding of US healthcare benefits and HIPAA compliance.
