Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Edge Forming Machine Operator to join our press shop operations at SGI Unit III. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining edge forming press machines, ensuring consistent quality and productivity aligned with manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate edge forming machines for sheet metal components.
• Interpret technical drawings and production specifications accurately.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using gauges and measuring instruments.
• Maintain daily production logs and report any deviations.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: ITI – Fitter / Turner / Tool & Die Maker / Mechanical trades
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a press shop or sheet metal forming unit

Compensation & Benefits:

• Gross Salary: Up to ₹20,000 per month
• Benefits: PF, ESI, Shift Allowance, Performance Incentives
