Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, a passion for quality, and experience with the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites integrated into our CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins).
• Develop and write clear, detailed test documentation, including test strategies, bug reports, and test coverage summaries.
• Analyze test results, create quality metrics reports, and communicate findings to development teams and stakeholders.
• Write and maintain scripts in Perl and Python to automate test execution and data validation tasks.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and document software defects with a high level of detail.
• (If applicable) Develop and implement automation for validating EDA tool outputs and IP cores.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Test Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (both manual and automated).
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium).
• Solid experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python and Perl, for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create clear technical documentation.

Highly Desirable (A Plus):

• Background in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry.
• Practical experience in validating EDA tool outputs, semiconductor IP, or related hardware design verification flows.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
