Job Description

As an Echocardiographer, your role involves performing echocardiograms on patients to assess heart function and detect abnormalities. You will operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring that it functions correctly. It will be your responsibility to explain procedures to patients, addressing any concerns they may have. Additionally, you will review and interpret preliminary results, highlighting any abnormal findings for the cardiologist. Your duties will also include recording and storing echocardiogram images and patient information in the medical records system. Key Responsibilities: - Perform echocardiograms on patients - Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment - Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns - Review and interpret preliminary results for the cardiologist - Record and store echocardiogram images and patient information - Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members - Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures - Monitor patient vitals and response during procedures - Maintain continuing education in echocardiography technology - Provide emotional support to patients and their families Qualifications Required: - Certification in Echocardiography - Knowledge of echocardiography technology and practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers benefits including leave encashment, paid sick time, and provident fund.
