ECHO & TMT Technician

As a skilled Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms on patients to assess heart function and detect abnormalities. Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment will be a crucial part of your role, ensuring that it functions correctly at all times. You will also be required to explain procedures to patients, addressing any concerns they may have with empathy and clarity. Your duties will include reviewing and interpreting preliminary results, with a keen eye to highlight any abnormal findings for the cardiologist's attention. Recording and storing echocardiogram images and patient information in the medical records system will be essential for maintaining accurate patient records. Collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare team members is key to ensuring precise diagnosis and treatment for patients. Adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures is paramount in ensuring the safety of both patients and staff. Monitoring patient vitals and response during procedures will be part of your responsibilities to ensure their overall well-being. It is also expected that you maintain your continuing education and stay updated with advances in echocardiography technology and practices. Providing emotional support to patients and their families during the diagnostic procedure will be a vital aspect of your role, demonstrating care and compassion throughout the patient's journey.
