Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester with a strong background in finance modules, specifically Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Purchase Order (PO). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of testing methodologies and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our financial software solutions.

Responsibilities

Understand testing requirements and objectives, as well as the company s software development process.Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.Execute both manual and automated tests, track defects, and report results effectively.Analyze test results to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance software quality.Assist with troubleshooting issues identified during testing phases.Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates on assigned tasks.Collaborate closely with developers to ensure that new code meets established quality standards.Stay updated on new testing tools and methodologies to improve testing processes.Train new team members on testing procedures and best practices.Adhere to all company policies and procedures throughout the testing lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills

5-7 years of testing experience in finance modules (AP, AR, GL, PO).Effective CommunicationSolid understanding of SQL and relational databases.Experience with test management tools such as TestRail.Ability to create clear and concise test cases.Working knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).Deal Breaker Skill: Oracle EBS Financial Management EBiz Tax.Preferred SkillsExperience with database upgrade testing.Familiarity with automated testing tools.

Qualifications
