Early Career Trainee - Shop Floor Trainee

Role Overview: Join our Industry leading manufacturing team as a Trainee where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of plant equipment and assembling innovative products for the energy industry. As an apprentice, you will be part of a team responsible for the assembly of high-quality and cutting-edge products. Your primary focus will be on assembling control valves and their accessories, performing pre-job duties, maintaining workstation records, and preparing parts for shipment. Key Responsibilities: - Assembling & testing control valves and accessories - Performing pre-job duties, machine inspection, and tester condition checks - Maintaining workstation, records, and communications - Vouchering worked hours applicable to the assigned MFG activity - Preparing control valves and sub-assembly parts for shipment - Following shop floor policies related to working shifts, lunch breaks, and PPE use Qualifications Required: - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Ability to read and understand work instructions/procedures - Can-do attitude - Basic awareness of 5S & Lean Manufacturing - Ability to report safety, quality, and route issues to the supervisor - Adherence to Baker Hughes HSE policies and legal compliance requirements Additional Company Details: At Baker Hughes, our people are our greatest asset.
