Role & responsibilities We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and hands-on professional to lead our marketing and sales functions and build a high-performing team from the ground up. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies, managing customer relationships, driving sales, and contributing to broader business operations. Marketing Strategy & Execution Develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with business goals. Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention through digital marketing, content, SEO, events, and social media. Monitor and optimize campaign performance, ensuring maximum ROI. Establish and maintain the companys branding, messaging, and positioning. Team Building & Leadership Build, structure, and grow the marketing and sales teams from scratch. Define roles, recruit team members, and onboard top talent across digital marketing, content, design, and sales. Lead, motivate, and mentor the team to meet performance targets. Establish workflows, KPIs, and a results-oriented team culture. Sales & Customer Engagement Collaborate with leadership to define sales targets and strategy. Support lead generation, conversion tactics, and pipeline management. Directly engage with high-value customers and strategic accounts. Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues when necessary. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with product, operations, and finance teams to ensure consistent messaging and unified goals. Provide marketing and sales support for product launches, new services, or market expansions. Actively participate in strategic planning, pricing, and business development initiatives. Operations & Performance Monitoring Set up and manage key marketing and CRM tools. Analyze data to track team performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs, marketing ROI, and sales progress. Preferred candidate profile We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven professional with a strong blend of strategic thinking, leadership acumen, and executional excellence across both marketing and sales . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, building functions from scratch, and directly contributing to top-line growth. Experience & Background 2-5 years of progressive experience in marketing and sales, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role . Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable growth. Experience in building and managing teams across marketing, sales, and customer success. Demonstrated success in lead generation , pipeline development, and conversion optimization . Hands-on experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools , and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.). Preferably has experience in startup or scale-up environments , where resourcefulness, adaptability, and speed are key. Skills & Competencies Strong grasp of digital marketing , content strategy, SEO/SEM, performance marketing, and social media. Excellent leadership and team-building skills ; able to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to translate insights into strategy and tactical plans. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to align cross-functional teams. Strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude comfortable switching between high-level planning and day-to-day execution. Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and customer experience optimization. Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
