EAE Proposal

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for automation solutions with a focus on software-driven architecture (e.g., SCADA, DCS, EAE, PLC).
• Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to understand project scope, application, and requirements.
• Interpret RFQs and customer specifications and translate them into cost-effective, tailored solution proposals.
• Develop solution architecture, BOM, costing, and pricing strategies.
• Ensure proposals align with both customer pain points and business goals.
• Collaborate with delivery teams for effort estimation, timelines, and risk evaluation.
• Lead or support solution walk-throughs, bid clarifications, and negotiations with customers.
• Maintain proposal documentation, costing templates, and competitive intelligence databases.
• Work closely with R&D/engineering teams for customized solution components when needed.
• Keep up with evolving technologies like software-defined automation, IIoT integration, protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet), and virtualization frameworks (Docker, etc.).
  

Required Skills

Required Skills & Experience

• 515 years of experience in technical proposals/quotation for industrial automation solutions (preferably software-centric).
• Strong experience with tools and platforms like DCS/SCADA/PLC, industrial communication protocols, and application software.
• Proven exposure to the Indian industrial automation market including OEMs, EPCs, end users, and SIs.
• Familiarity with cost estimation, tendering process, and solution presentations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and delivery teams.
• Strong techno-commercial acumen with the ability to position value over price.
• Good knowledge of industrial architectures, networking, and hybrid automation ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
