Showroom Manager india 4 - 6 years INR 1.8 - 4.2 Lacs P.A. On-site Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to lead our textile retail showroom operations. This dual role requires managing day-to-day showroom activities, driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and handling purchase planning to maintain the right inventory mix for the business. Key ResponsibilitiesShowroom Management Oversee daily operations of the textile showroom ensuring smooth functioning. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets by motivating and guiding the sales team. Monitor customer service standards and resolve escalations promptly. Maintain visual merchandising and showroom display in line with brand standards. Track walk-ins, conversion ratios, and average bill value to improve sales KPIs. Team Leadership Supervise, train, and evaluate sales staff performance. Develop incentive structures and motivate the team to achieve goals. Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure discipline and professionalism. Purchase & Inventory Management Plan, source, and procure textile products in line with customer demand and trends. Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, credit terms, and timely delivery. Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking. Track fast-moving and slow-moving items, implementing stock clearance strategies. Coordinate with accounts for purchase orders, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Reporting & Coordination Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales and purchase reports for management. Work closely with management to forecast demand and plan seasonal purchases. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements. Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Good knowledge of textile products, fabrics, and market trends. Negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical mindset with ability to work on sales & inventory data. Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP software for stock and sales management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce/Textile Management (preferred). 4–6 years of experience in showroom operations and textile purchase. Prior experience in textile/garments retail sector is an advantage. Compensation Salary: Competitive (based on experience & performance). Incentives: Sales-based performance incentives.
