E-Commerce Website Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Website Assistant to support the daily management and smooth operation of our online store. The role involves updating product listings, managing website content, coordinating basic marketing activities, and ensuring the store provides an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update product listings (titles, descriptions, images, pricing, inventory).
• Upload and organize new collections, banners, and promotional content on the website.
• Perform basic design edits using Shopify themes or page builders.
• Monitor website performance and ensure all links, forms, and checkout processes work smoothly.
• Assist with marketing activities such as uploading campaign creatives, updating discount codes, and coordinating email/newsletter content.
• Optimize product pages for SEO (keywords, meta descriptions, alt tags).
• Support order tracking, customer queries, and coordinate with logistics if needed.
• Test website changes before publishing live updates.
• Maintain consistency in branding, content, and product presentation.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Shopify (or other e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce / Magento).
• Hands-on skills in website content management, product uploads, and simple design updates.
• Familiarity with SEO basics and digital marketing tools is a plus.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily/weekly tasks without supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Canva or Photoshop (for resizing/editing product images).
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics is an advantage.
• Exposure to tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or email marketing platforms (Mailchimp/Klaviyo) is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
