Supply Chain & Logistics Manager | D'YAVOL Spirits Department: Operations / Supply Chain Location: Mumbai or Delhi Reporting To: Managing Director Status: Full-time Role Overview The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager will lead end-to-end procurement, logistics, and vendor relationship management to ensure seamless production and timely product availability across our spirits portfolio. This role encompasses sourcing and securing dry goods (e.g., bottles, caps, labels, cartons) and liquid inputs (e.g., spirits, concentrates), managing strategic partnerships with distilleries, co-packers, third-party warehouses, and logistics providers, and overseeing outbound logistics and inventory visibility. The ideal candidate will align supply with production and sales timelines, ensure compliance and documentation standards, and build agility into operations to support growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Logistics Oversee procurement of all production inputs (dry goods and liquids), aligned to forecasts and production schedules. Manage dispatch timelines and delivery logistics to meet production deadlines. Monitor supplier lead times and implement buffers to mitigate risk. Identify and onboard alternative or backup suppliers where needed. Partner with 3PL and warehousing providers to ensure smooth dispatch of customer and distributor orders. Maintain real-time visibility of inventory across external warehouse locations. Vendor & Production Partner Management Foster strong relationships with production partners in Europe (Poland, Italy, Spain, UK) and Mexico (liquid inputs), and packaging suppliers in China and future markets. Serve as primary point of contact for distilleries, co-packers, and logistics providers, ensuring effective communication and prompt issue resolution. Regularly monitor vendor performance and proactively address challenges. Production Support & Compliance Ensure accurate, compliant labelling and packaging for all markets, including barcode and regulatory verifications. Coordinate development, approval, and delivery of product and packaging samples prior to production. Inventory, Dispatch & Documentation Oversee stock positioning across production sites and third-party warehouses. Coordinate global outbound shipments in line with growth plans. Organise and review shipping documentation (e.g., GRNs, dispatch notes, delivery confirmations). Approve and review freight, insurance, and handling charges. Support internal teams with stock movement reports, customs, and freight tracking. Product Development & Expansion Support production runs for existing SKUs and new product launches, including unique component sourcing. Align procurement and vendor planning to new product timelines. Experience & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management, preferably in spirits, beverages, or FMCG. Self-starter, able to work independently and flexibly to accommodate different time zones and partners. Proven track record managing supplier networks across multiple geographies. Strong understanding of production inputs and international logistics. Experience coordinating with 3PL and external warehousing partners. Skilled in contract negotiation and cost optimisation. Familiarity with customs processes, compliance standards, and regulatory labeling requirements. Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP or inventory management systems. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus, particularly Spanish. Prior experience supporting new product development. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling business environment. Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach. Willing to relocate to the Netherlands in the mid-term.
