Dy Manager/Senior Exe (Business Solutions Group-QA)

Job Purpose

• To manage and oversee the end?to?end testing activities for one or more applications within the Equity Cash and Equity Derivatives Exchange systems, ensuring functional accuracy, performance, compliance, and seamless integration with trading, clearing, and settlement processes.

Key Result Areas

1. Understand functional requirements of Equity Cash and Equity Derivatives trading, risk management, and settlement modules; prepare test plans and estimations; manage design, documentation, and execution of test cases; allocate testers; manage defects and bug reporting; coordinate with Delivery Manager for release management; monitor SOP adherence
2. Test progress reporting to stakeholders including business, technology, and compliance teams
3. Participate in Exchange Mock Trading and Market Simulation Activities for both Cash and Derivatives segments
4. Participate in Internal Audit activities of SOP and regulatory compliance checks
5. Monitor process implementation as per defined SOP and exchange regulatory guidelines

Preferred Profile: -

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E. (Preferred) / MCA / M.Sc. IT (with good academic record)
• At least one testing certification from a reputed institute (preferred)

Experience

• 23 years of experience managing testing activities in the BFSI domain
• Direct experience in

  Equity Cash

  and/or

  Equity Derivatives

  exchange systems preferred
• Familiarity with trading life cycle, order matching engines, market data dissemination, and post?trade processes

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies for high?availability, low?latency trading systems
• Proven data analysis, verification, and problem?solving abilities in a market?critical environment

Functional Competencies required

• Detailed knowledge of exchange trading platforms, clearing and settlement systems, and risk management modules
• Technical fluency in relevant programming languages and database systems
• Understanding of regulatory requirements from SEBI, exchanges, and clearing corporations
