Testing and documentation. Number of openings 1 What awaits you/ Job Profile Design and develop high-quality software solutions using JAVA, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Leads direct staff and project teams in the design, development, customization, configuration and implementation of applications designed to advance business initiatives Lead the architecture and design efforts for enterprise-level applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and create comprehensive architectural solutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design patterns, and coding standards. Mentor and guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the development process and improve system performance. Ensure alignment of architectural solutions with business objectives and technical requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing technical leadership and guidance. Additional Responsibility Responsible for packaging Java/J2EE Web applications and managing the associated licensing processes. Create software installer packages. Test and validate software packages to ensure compatibility, performance, and security. Manage and optimize software licenses. Key areas of emphasis include the management of software licenses, assessment of software tools, development of software installer packages, formulation of software blueprints, analysis and reporting on standard software utilization, as well as testing and documentation. What should you bring along The position involves being a technical expert within the Developer Experience Team at BMW Group IT, which focuses on providing tools that streamline the development process, ranging from code editors to services for continuous integration and delivery for the whole organization. Overall, 8-12 years of relevant experience as JAVA Architect / Enterprise Architect Strong expertise in JAVA programming and related technologies. Proficiency in Spring Boot for building robust and scalable applications. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices. Experience with Maven for project management and build automation. Strong understanding of coding and design patterns. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to lead and mentor development teams. Expertise in software modeling and diagramming tools (e. g. , UML, Visio, Lucidchart). Understanding of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e. g. , CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code). knowledge of compliance requirements and software licensing models. Knowledge of software security best practices and principles. Proficiency in developing software solution designs. i. e. blueprints for software solutions.
