Duck Creek Distribution Management System (DMS) Architect

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DuckCreek DMS (Distribution Management System) Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced DMS solutions. In this role, youll be responsible for architecting scalable, efficient, and secure distribution management systems using the DuckCreek platform, with a focus on supporting complex insurance distribution workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and implement DuckCreek DMS solutions aligned with business requirementsDefine system architecture, data models, and integration patterns for DMS modulesCollaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutionsProvide technical leadership and guidance to development teamsEnsure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practicesTroubleshoot and optimize existing DMS implementationsDocument technical designs, workflows, and processesStay updated with DuckCreek platform updates and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience with DuckCreek DMS, including recent architecture-level workDeep understanding of insurance distribution workflows and producer managementStrong experience designing solutions on the DuckCreek PlatformProficiency in Java and SQL (preferred)Experience with integration tools, data mapping, and third-party systemsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote setupBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice to HaveExperience with DuckCreek Policy and Billing modulesPrior work with large-scale insurance carriers or tech consulting firmsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools
