Drupal Technical Lead

As a Technical Lead at Hogarth, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of developers, providing them with technical guidance, support, and expertise. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define technical requirements and project milestones. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction, architecture, and implementation strategies for decoupled CMS projects. Ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines throughout the development process will be a key aspect of your role. Developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using modern web technologies will also be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise in implementing decoupled CMS solutions, integrating front-end frameworks with back-end CMS platforms, designing and developing APIs, Microservices, and other server-side components will be essential. Collaboration with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the presentation layer and the decoupled CMS will also be a key aspect of your role. Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in web development, decoupled architectures, and CMS technologies is crucial. You will provide technical guidance and recommendations for selecting the most appropriate CMS platform based on project requirements. Working closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation will also be part of your responsibilities. Participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile development processes, as well as identifying and mitigating technical risks and challenges to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, will be essential in this role. Your proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on decoupled CMS solutions, along with a strong background in developing web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies, will make you a valuable asset to our team. If you possess proficiency in decoupled CMS platforms, particularly Drupal, expertise in front-end technologies such as JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, PHP, .NET, or Java, and solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other API integration techniques, we would like to hear from you. Your knowledge of database systems, proficiency in SQL, and proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers will be highly valued in this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, along with the ability to provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices, will be crucial. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), experience with containerization technologies like Docker, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines will be beneficial in this role.
