Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for solar energy projects using

  MicroStation

  software.
• Collaborate with project engineers and design teams to understand project requirements and produce accurate and effective designs.
• Prepare and modify designs, layouts, and schematics for solar power system installations.
• Review design drawings for compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that all drawings are consistent with project specifications, design changes, and the latest building codes.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design reports and material specifications.
• Perform quality checks and revisions on drawings as needed.
• Maintain an organized filing system for all design documents and drawings.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, codes, and standards related to solar power and drafting software.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Certificate in Drafting or Engineering

  (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred).
• Proven experience working as a Draughtsman in the

  Solar Renewable Energy

  or related industries.
• Proficient in using

  MicroStation

  for creating 2D and 3D designs and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of technical drawing standards and practices.
• Familiarity with solar power system components, layout designs, and installation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex design concepts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Experience with solar energy project planning and execution.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in

  Solar Renewable Energy

  projects or similar fields.

Education:

• Diploma

  in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Certification

  in drafting tools/software (MicroStation) is a plus.
