Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to prepare detailed technical drawings of projects such as kitchen wardrobes full residence and commercial interior fit out. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD software and a solid understanding of engineering concepts and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

Interpret and convert conceptual designs, sketches, and calculations from engineers into accurate drawings.

Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers.

Maintain and organize project drawing documentation and archives.

Ensure all drawings adhere to applicable codes, standards, and company specifications.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers on design and drawing requirements.

Assist in Costing and preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ) when required.

Requirements:

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting (or related field).

Proven experience as a Draftsman (2+ years preferred).

Proficiency in Sketch Up, or BIM or any 3D software is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in [residential/commercial/infrastructure] projects.

Familiarity with Furniture raw materials and hardware.

Experience with Joinery tools is an advantage.

Salary :25000-35000

Location : Tenkasi
