As a highly skilled Software Developer, you will be joining our team to work on a variety of projects involving both legacy technologies like VB 6.0 and Classic ASP, as well as modern frameworks such as .NET Core Web API. Your responsibilities will include building, enhancing, and maintaining both legacy applications and modern web-based solutions while ensuring seamless integration with various reporting tools. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core Web API. - Work with legacy technologies such as VB 6.0 and Classic ASP to enhance and support existing systems. - Develop and optimize database structures using Microsoft SQL Server. - Work with JSON for data exchange between web services and front-end applications. - Write and maintain frontend code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for modern, responsive web applications. - Utilize QuickBooks and Crystal Reports (via .NET/VB 6.0) for reporting and data visualization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery. - Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues. - Ensure application scalability, security, and best practices are followed throughout development. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers. Required Skills: - Strong experience in VB 6.0 and Classic ASP for maintaining and supporting legacy applications. - Proficiency in .NET Core Web API development and C#. - Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance. - Experience working with JSON for APIs and data integration. - Front-end development skills, including proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience using QuickBooks for reporting purposes. - Familiarity with Crystal Reports in a .NET environment (VB 6.0). - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Ability to work in both a legacy and modern tech environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
