Dot Net Developer

A specialist software developer has extensive experience in developing applications in VB.NET, C# or ASP.NET. A specialist provides senior engineering leadership in the development, documentation, maintenance of architectures, requirements and designs for software systems.

Responsibilities:

  Develop and maintain .NET applications using C#, VB.net or ASP.net

  Write efficient and performant SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions

  Organize technical architecture design discussions, develop technical specifications, contribute towards designing efficient systems using latest technologies

  Define and document coding & design standards, review the standards regularly and provide suggestions for improvement

  Perform code peer reviews and ensure code adheres to standards, delivers high performance and is designed to be scalable and flexible

  Promote continuous integration strategies to speed-up software delivery

  Support system testing and deployment activities

  Collaborate closely with project manager, business analyst and cross-functional teams

Preferred candidate profile

  In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure with extensive experience in developing applications on .net core platform and/or .net framework platforms

  Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to under complex business requirements into simple, efficient and scalable system design

  Excellent knowledge and experience in developing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures

  Good knowledge of designing and developing REST APIs

  Proficiency with SQL Server and ability to convert complex business requirements into simple database designs

  Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
