Senior .NET Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate software architecture and technical design requirements.
  
• Collaborate with frontend (web & mobile) developers for seamless backend integration.
  
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications, APIs, data models, and business logic using

  .NET frameworks

  .
• Build and optimize

  REST APIs (microservices)

  ensuring scalability, security, and documentation standards.
• Maintain and enhance distributed applications and backend integration modules.
  
• Optimize backend systems for performance, security, and code quality.
  
• Troubleshoot and debug applications in production and development environments.
  
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvements.
  
• Mentor, motivate, and support peers in a collaborative team environment.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience using

  .NET frameworks

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in algorithms and data structures.
  
• Proficiency in

  C#, OOP, asynchronous programming, and TDD

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, NUnit, ASP.NET Web API

  .
• Strong experience with

  SQL & NoSQL databases

  .
• Good understanding of

  Microservices, SOA, and Object-Oriented Design principles

  .
• Familiarity with authentication systems, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
  
• Knowledge of

  Docker, IIS/Kestrel, CI/CD pipelines, and Git

  .
• Experience with

  REST, HTTP, JSON, XML protocols

  .
• Exposure to

  Agile methodologies

  and tools like JIRA/Confluence.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and mentoring skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with

  cloud deployments (Azure / AWS)

  .
• Knowledge of

  Kubernetes, container orchestration, and DevOps practices

  .
• Familiarity with performance monitoring, scaling strategies, and distributed systems.
