Donor Retention Officer

As a Donor Relationship Executive at WWF India, your role involves contacting donors through various channels such as calls, emails, and in-person meetings to effectively communicate the organization's mission and initiatives. Your primary goal is to retain existing donors contributing between INR 20,000 to INR 100,000, while also identifying and nurturing relationships with potential new supporters. Building and maintaining strong relationships with donors is crucial to maximize opportunities and ensure a high retention ratio. You will play a crucial role in converting, retaining, and upgrading the donor database to enhance support for WWF India's conservation efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Contact donors through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to communicate the organization's mission and initiatives effectively. - Retain existing donors contributing between INR 20,000 to INR 100,000. - Identify and nurture relationships with potential new supporters. - Build and maintain strong relationships with donors to maximize opportunities and ensure a high retention ratio. - Convert, retain, and upgrade the donor database to enhance support for WWF India's conservation efforts. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Graduate/Post Graduate/MBA degree from a recognized university. - Possess excellent English communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to engage with people, understand their needs, and establish rapport. - Experience in donor retention or fundraising for at least 1-2 years. In this role, you will collaborate with the Key Donor team to assist in planning donor activities and developing creative communication strategies tailored to key donors. Immediate availability or a readiness to join within 15 days is preferred to onboard quickly and contribute effectively.
