We deliver modular, scalable, and 𝐀𝐈-𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 for Asset Performance Management , Digital O&M , Smart Metering among others. We are now looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to become part of the Business Development engine; focused on expanding our presence across Energy & Utility (E&U) clients. Responsibilities Drive new business development and sales execution for software solutions and consulting services in the Energy & Utilities sector Business development experience predominantly in India Market . It is a plus to have exposure in selling services outside India at least in Asia / MEA regio n Build and nurture client relationships, working closely with decision-makers in renewable energy, power distribution, transmission, and EPC companies Identify and convert qualified leads into revenue-generating deals , owning the end-to-end sales cycle Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align client needs with tailored solutions Report on pipeline progress, forecast deals, and contribute to strategic go-to-market planning What We’re Looking For More than 3 years of proven experience in Sales / BD in the Energy & Utilities sector Strong background in selling enterprise software solutions and consulting services (preferably in areas like asset performance management, smart grid, analytics, or digital O&M) Familiar with selling Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools (at least one tool like: Maximo , SAP EAM, Infor EAM, ServiceNow); and selling GIS tools like Esri, Mapbox, QGIS, Google Maps and others. Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Generator to join our software services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities by leveraging multiple lead generation strategies. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads that convert into long-term clients. Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential clients in target industries for software development, IT consulting, and digital transformation services. Use channels such as Apollo, LinkedIn, email campaigns, CRM tools, industry directories, and networking events to generate qualified leads. Develop and maintain a database of prospects, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Conduct initial outreach (cold calls, emails, social selling) to engage prospects and understand their business needs. Qualify leads based on defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline). Schedule appointments and hand over qualified opportunities to the sales team. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and refine lead generation campaigns. Track and report lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline growth using CRM systems. Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to identify new opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience (2–4 years) in lead generation, business development, or inside sales within the IT/software services industry. Strong understanding of software services such as custom software development, web/mobile app development, cloud solutions, and IT consulting. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage decision-makers. Strong research skills and ability to identify high-quality leads. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet targets. Experience working with international clients (US, Europe, APAC). Familiarity with outbound and inbound lead generation strategies. Knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, content marketing, PPC) is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
