Domain Expert (Metals / Steel Manufacturing)

As a Digital Initiatives Manager in the Metals industry, you will be responsible for driving digitalization efforts across Steel Melting Shops, Hot Rolling and Cold Rolling shops. You will manage key digital platforms such as IOT, SCADA, and Machine Connectivity platforms while leading efforts in data analytics and advising on emerging Cloud and big data technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate and conduct regular discussions with software development teams to deliver end-to-end value to clients. - Interact with target customers to understand their digital requirements and oversee solution creation. - Identify and contribute to key assets and practices for the metals domain, creating joint solutions with industry software players like SAP. - Shape the thought leadership agenda for the metals segment and focus on establishing a metals innovation center in collaboration with clients. - Drive the execution of the innovation agenda for the portfolio, with a specific focus on client stakeholders in the metals domain. - Manage digital initiatives within the Metals manufacturing sector. Qualifications Required: - Experience with IOT/Cloud platforms and SAP ERP, preferably S4 HANA with knowledge of the SD module. - Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies for deriving actionable insights. Please note that regular travel to customer locations, particularly to Hisar, will be required for this role.,
