Domain Expert (Metals / Steel Manufacturing)

As a Digital Initiatives Manager in the Metals industry, your role will involve driving digital initiatives and managing key digital platforms such as IOT, SCADA, and Machine Connectivity platforms. You will also lead efforts in data analytics and provide advice on emerging Cloud and big data technologies. Your main focus will be on Steel Melting Shops, Hot Rolling, and Cold Rolling shops, ensuring a digital transformation across these areas. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate and conduct regular discussions with software development teams to deliver end-to-end value to our clients. - Interact with target customers to understand their digital requirements and oversee the creation of solutions. - Identify and contribute to key assets and practices in the metals domain, creating joint solutions with industry software players like SAP. - Shape the thought leadership agenda for the segment and work on establishing a metals innovation center in collaboration with the client. - Drive the execution of the innovation agenda, with a specific focus on client stakeholders in the metals domain. - Manage digital initiatives within the Metals manufacturing sector, leveraging your experience with IOT/Cloud platforms and SAP ERP (preferably S4 HANA, SD module). - Utilize familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights.
