As the Domain Architect you will specify and design high performance, fully reliable cloud infra solutions to meet demanding customer needs. You will function as the Cloud Subject Matter Expert and develop the full scope of the Cloud solution, partnering with other organizations to achieve workable solutions. Solve highly complex or novel Cloud problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As part of the team, you will:
- Develop customer specific cloud architecture (NCP, OCP, AWS, etc..) and high-level solution design (HLD)
- Develop the LLD (Low Level Design) in close partnership with Network planning / design team and Customer
- Engage in hands on delivery activities with Cloud Integrators. Provider expert leadership in deployment and troubleshooting
- Provide direction and sets expectations for creation of new business opportunities (CRs) and evaluates new technology solutions
- Participate in large, complex and / or key customer solution selling cases
- Independently develop concepts to set the professional direction of own organizational unit
- Act as a senior subject matter expert, typically at a regional level, in many organizational units the senior internal expert who serves as best practice / quality resource.
- Travel: up to 25%, within US and Canada
Key Skills And Experience
You must have:
- Demonstrated experience / Mastery of Cloud discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and practice
- Expert in more than one Cloud area NCP, OCP, AWS with strong IP networking background
- Hands on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Automation technologies
- At least 12+ years experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure as well as supporting the onboarding of Container Network Functions (CNF) applications
- BS in Engineering / Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree is a plus.
- Previously worked as an expert integrator troubleshooting complex problems in Cloud deliveries
It would be nice if you also have:
- A Deep understanding of Nokia CNS Cloud Blueprint architecture (NCP) would be a definite plus.
- Strong working experience with Orchestration (NCOM) and CICD work flows (NCD). Both NCD and NCOM are Nokia CNS products widely deployed at multiple customers.
