Domain Architect L1

Role Overview: As an Architect in this role, your main purpose will be to drive the overall development of the target Architecture by defining the technology roadmap for your own business/domain. You will be recognized as the subject matter expert for a specific domain and will provide expert advice and guidance to various business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Develop architectural applications for new deals and major change requests in existing deals - Create enterprise-wide business/domain architecture deliverables focused on the target audience's issues and opportunities - Look for opportunities to use high-level business and operating models combined with business, people, information, technology, and solutions - Contribute to the Target Architecture by developing and maintaining the technology roadmap for your area of expertise - Recognize innovative use of technology to increase performance measures - Establish domain-specific standards, strategy, and roadmaps in adherence to Enterprise standards - Guide a solution from concept to delivery, envision and create solutions that meet requirements - Participate in research and development efforts as a subject matter expert when introducing new technologies - Define high-level migration plans to address gaps between current and future state - Provide technology consulting to solution architects, junior staff members, and others using multiple domain technologies - Collaborate with IT and line of business functional groups to communicate and clarify business needs - Provide technical leadership in implementing custom solutions through modern technology - Analyze current technology environment and recommend solutions for improvement - Bring knowledge of automation in application by embracing Agile and dev-ops principles - Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks - Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, and other stakeholders - Develop trust and build effective working relationships through respectful, collaborative engagement across individual product teams - Ensure solutions developed are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 8-10 years of experience in a similar role - Strong expertise in technology architecture and roadmap development - Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide business/domain architecture - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to drive innovation and mentor junior staff members Please note this job description provides an overview of the role's responsibilities and qualifications required.
