Doctor Assistance Job Description Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist during medical examinations and procedures. Manage and update patient records, including electronic health records. Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-ups. Sterilize and prepare medical equipment for use. Communicate with patients about treatments and medications. Collect and prepare lab specimens; perform basic tests. Assist with managing prescriptions under doctor supervision.
