Role Purpose
The Marketing Team Leader will drive operational excellence and strategic alignment for the India Marketing Shared Services team, while leading the transition to a shared division marketing model. This role is pivotal in managing resources, fostering collaboration across business units and geographies, and championing innovation to elevate marketing performance and customer engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Change Management
- Working with leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies supporting both shared services and division-wide objectives.
- Lead the transition to a shared marketing structure, driving adoption of new processes and tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and alignment.
Operational Excellence & Execution
- Oversee day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and workload balancing for the India Shared Services team.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of marketing tasks (content creation, digital campaigns, SEO, analytics).
- Track and report on KPIs such as campaign ROI, lead generation, and SEO compliance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for BU Marketing Leads and global stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across local and global teams to align marketing priorities.
- Facilitate regular alignment meetings and maintain transparent communication channels.
Innovation & Customer-Centricity
- Champion innovative ideas, tools, and technologies to enhance marketing performance.
- Ensure marketing strategies and campaigns are aligned with customer needs and market trends.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage analytics and insights to optimize marketing decisions and performance.
- Promote a data-driven mindset within the team.
Performance Management
- Conduct regular reviews, provide feedback, and support team development.

Qualifications & Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing marketing operations for large divisions or multi-business units.
- Familiarity with shared service models and global marketing frameworks.
- Strong digital marketing, content strategy, and analytics skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Planner, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Exceptional communication, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of leading cross-cultural teams and delivering results in dynamic environments.

- On-time delivery of marketing projects and tasks across all BUs and the division.
- Achievement of defined KPIs (e.g., YoY lead growth, SEO compliance, marketing ROI).
