Dispatch Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

A. Dispatch Planning & Coordination

• Plan daily dispatch schedules based on customer orders and priorities.
  
• Coordinate with production, stores, and sales teams for dispatch readiness.
  
• Ensure the right quantity and correct items are dispatched as per order/Invoice.
  
• Manage urgent dispatches and ensure timely shipments.
  

B. Documentation

• Prepare dispatch documents:
  
• Invoice
  
• Packing List
  
• E-way Bill
  
• Delivery Challan
  
• Transport documents
  
• Maintain all dispatch records and logs for audit purposes.
  

C. Warehouse & Material Handling

• Supervise loading, unloading, packing, and material movement.
  
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and tagging of goods.
  
• Optimize space utilization and follow FIFO/FEFO as required.
  
• Maintain stock accuracy and coordinate with the storekeeper.
  

D. Transport & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with transport companies, drivers, and courier partners.
  
• Arrange vehicles for local, domestic, or export dispatches.
  
• Track dispatches until delivery and share updates with customers or internal teams.
  

E. Team Supervision

• Lead and monitor dispatch assistants, loaders, and helpers.
  
• Train staff on safe and efficient dispatch processes.
  
• Ensure discipline, work allocation, and performance tracking.
  

F. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all dispatch activities follow safety protocols.
  
• Maintain clean and organized dispatch area.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  
• 28 years of experience in dispatch / warehouse / logistics operations.
  
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.).
  
• Strong understanding of transport documentation and GST E-way Bills.
  
• Good communication and team management skills.
  
• Ability to handle multi-dispatch operations and work under pressure.
  

4. Additional Preferences (Optional)

• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, EV, or trading industry.
  
• Knowledge of export dispatch documentation.
  
• Forklift or material handling experience.
  

5. Salary
