Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage dispatch operations, calculate purchase order requirements, and perform data analysis. This role involves coordinating with logistics teams, managing transportation operations, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dispatch Operations: Manage and coordinate dispatch operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of deliveries.
2. Procurement Planning: Calculate purchase order requirements based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve supply chain efficiency.
4. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams, transportation providers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth delivery operations.
5. Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues, and provide solutions to meet their needs.
6. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, identify stockouts or overstocking, and recommend corrective actions.
7. Reporting: Generate reports on dispatch performance, inventory levels, and procurement metrics.
Requirements
1. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in dispatch, procurement, logistics, or a related field.
2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with customers, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders.
4. Technical Skills: Familiarity with dispatch software, transportation management systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification: Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
2. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices is desirable.
