Department: Logistics and Supply Chain Reporting To: Production Head Job Summary The Dispatch and Logistics Executive is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of goods, monitoring logistics operations, and maintaining records to ensure smooth supply chain activities. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet delivery timelines and optimize logistical processes. Key Responsibilities Dispatch Coordination Oversee the dispatching of goods from the warehouse to the designated locations. Schedule sales target and prioritize dispatch activities to meet customer deadlines. Ensure proper documentation, including invoices, delivery challans, and transport receipts. Logistics Management Plan and manage transportation routes to optimize cost and delivery time. Coordinate with transport vendors and negotiate rates when necessary. Track shipments and resolve any delays or issues during transit. Inventory and Documentation Maintain accurate records of inventory, dispatch details, and stock movements. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality. Prepare reports on logistics performance, including cost, efficiency, and delivery timelines. Customer Coordination Act as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules and concerns. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly. Compliance and Safety Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations. Monitor the safe handling and storage of goods during transit. Company Confidential Team Collaboration Work closely with warehouse, procurement, sales and production teams to align dispatch schedules with operational needs. Provide support to the team in achieving departmental goals. Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain roles. Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g. ERP). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Certifications: Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CSCP).
