Discipline Lead-Architect

You will be responsible for overseeing and guiding junior architects and designers, ensuring their work aligns with the project's design goals, quality standards, and innovation. Additionally, you will be required to ensure that all architectural deliverables are completed on time and meet project milestones, making necessary adjustments to plans when needed. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, it will be your duty to address their requirements, manage their expectations, and maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve ensuring that designs are compliant with U.S. building codes, zoning laws, accessibility standards (ADA), fire safety regulations, and other relevant requirements, based on client specifications. Moreover, you will lead and mentor junior team members, including architects, designers, and interns, by overseeing their work, offering constructive feedback, and supporting their professional development. You will be expected to provide effective solutions for complex design or construction challenges, collaborating with clients to resolve any issues that may arise. Regular reviews will be conducted to ensure that architectural designs align with the client's vision, meet technical standards, and comply with all necessary regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to business development activities by engaging in client pitches, proposal writing, project timeline estimation, and project acquisition efforts. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance design efficiency, functionality, and sustainability. It will be essential to ensure that all design documents, reports, and contracts are accurately prepared, maintained, and shared with clients as required. Possessing certifications in core architectural fields or sustainable building design, such as LEED AP, LEED Green Associate (LEED GA), or similar credentials, would be beneficial for this role.
