Discharge Summary - Typist

Qualification: Any graduate with Medical Coder / Medical Transcriptionist with 0 - 3 yrs

Job Description

· To check the case sheet for the complete discharge summary and the speciality

· To check whether the patient is a cash patient or credit patient and type accordingly.

To type the Discharge Summary with the following details:

1. Panel of Doctors should be mentioned at the date of discharge in the front page

2. History of the patient

3. Investigations done

4. Treatment given

5. Operations notes, if any

6. Course of Medication

7. Discharge advice

8. According to the diagnosis diet should be mentioned in the summary & final summary report to be typed and get signed from the doctors.

9. maintain patient no of records and letter pad details of patient

· Discharge summary should be prepared within 2 hours

· Pending summary should be prepared and submitted to MRD within 24 hours

· To participate in quality improvement programme

· To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
