Director Technology Governance Risk and Compliance

You will be joining GSK, a global biopharma company with a special purpose of uniting science, technology, and talent to positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver sustainable shareholder returns. As the Director, R&D Tech Governance Risk, and Compliance, your main responsibilities will include providing management and support for Governance, Risk & Compliance activities within the assigned business unit. You will ensure that Tech risks & controls are managed effectively, monitor compliance standards, and reduce the overall risk profile for customers. Additionally, you will serve as the Bangalore site lead, overseeing site-specific activities and HR processes for GRC staff in the Bangalore GCC office. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Providing Risk and Compliance Consultancy on strategic programs - Managing and monitoring CAPAs, Risks, Exceptions, ABAC, and Findings - Supporting Internal/External audits and Audit Readiness activities - Leading and motivating a team of GRC managers and specialists - Contributing to Risk Management by addressing significant risks and facilitating risk discussions - Supporting Governance & Compliance by ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and quality standards - Assisting in Information Policy Formation and GRC Consulting activities - Serving as the Bangalore Site Lead, representing GRC leadership, and supporting India-based staff To qualify for this role, you should have: - A University Degree or relevant experience with Risk and Compliance or Information Security Certification - Leadership skills and experience managing large teams - Understanding of Risk and Compliance, Business Continuity, and Information Security principles - 7+ years of experience in Risk Management/Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Compliance in a pharmaceutical environment - 18+ years of professional working experience Preferred qualifications include industry standard awareness or certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, or CISSP.
