Job Description

As a Director / Derivative Trade Support specialist in the Derivatives Trade Support team of MSIM (Morgan Stanley Investment Management) group, your role will involve overseeing daily derivative trade processing for various derivative instruments such as futures, options, credit derivatives, interest rate swaps, and equity swaps. You will also serve as the main contact point for Equity and Fixed Income traders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, proposing and implementing improvements/change in processes, risks, and projects - Act as a key problem solver for unique situations, recognizing risks and addressing key issues - Coordinate work, train, and develop other team members as required, including task allocation and project contribution - Perform daily functional responsibilities focused on derivative trade processing, block trade allocation communication, trade affirmation, confirmation, and notification - Liaise with Fixed Income and Equity traders to resolve derivative trade discrepancies - Reconcile positions and market values for Swaps, Options, and Forward FXs with counterparties and fund accountants - Escalate material breaks or issues that could lead to NAV errors or incorrect valuations - Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting to Derivatives teams in Europe and North America **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 6 years in Trade Support Middle office - Strong knowledge and experience of Derivatives in ETD and OTC products, including but not limited to Rates, Credit, Options, FX-Option/Forward, NDF - Experience in a Middle Office environment - Deep understanding of investment bank products with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills Morgan Stanley, a global leader in financial services since 1935, is committed to providing first-class service and maintaining a high standard of excellence.
