We are looking for a Director / Derivative Trade Support specialist to join our team in the Derivatives Trade Support team of MSIM (Morgan Stanley Investment Management) group. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily derivative trade processing, ensuring timely trade affirmation and trade notification for various derivative instruments such as futures, options, credit derivatives, interest rate swaps, and equity swaps. Additionally, you will serve as the main contact point for the Equity and Fixed Income traders. As a Team Specialist in the Product Support & Services group within the Operations division, you will work closely with business units to support financial transactions, implement effective controls, and build client relationships. Your role will involve providing transaction support and managing post-execution processes. Your responsibilities will include acting as a subject matter expert within your functional area, collaborating with the Team Manager to manage processes, risks, and projects, and proposing/implementing improvements. You will also be the key problem solver for unique situations, coordinate work, train team members, and perform daily functional responsibilities related to derivative trade processing, trade affirmation, confirmation, and notification. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience, with a minimum of 6 years in Trade Support Middle office. You should possess a comprehensive knowledge of derivatives in ETD and OTC products, including Rates, Credit, Options, FX-Option/Forward, NDF, and understand complex financial products, systems, and flows. Additionally, you should have experience in a Middle Office environment and a deep understanding of investment bank products with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
