As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking's Travel Platform function, you will lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. Your expertise will be applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances. You will lead multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide technology objectives. You will directly manage multiple areas with strategic transactional focus and provide leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business. Acting as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, you will drive consensus across competing objectives and manage multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations. In this role, you will influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams. You will also champion the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include formal training or certification on large-scale technology program concepts and 10+ years of applied experience. You should have experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise. Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale is essential. Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications using .NET technologies, including C#, and .NET Core is a must. Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability is required, as well as experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent. Extensive practical cloud-native experience and expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field are also necessary. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include experience working at the code level.,
