As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking's Travel Platform function, you will lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. Your expertise will be applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances. You will be responsible for leading multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide technology objectives. Directly managing multiple areas with a strategic transactional focus, you will provide leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business. Acting as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, you will drive consensus across competing objectives. Additionally, you will manage multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations. You will also influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams while championing the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills for this role include formal training or certification on large-scale technology program concepts and 10+ years of applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise. Experience in developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists is essential. Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale is also required. Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications using .NET technologies, including C#, and .NET Core is necessary. You should have experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability as well as experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent. An extensive practical cloud-native experience and expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field are essential. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include experience working at the code level.,
