Director, GS Trade Sales

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving trade finance business growth with your assigned client portfolio by developing and sustaining effective client relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for Trade products & Working Capital, identifying trade business opportunities, and collaborating with implementation, client management, and service teams. You will also participate in assigned projects/initiatives to gain exposure to broader business origination and sales strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, TB Product, TB Implementation, and Account Management - Provide effective regional trade sales coverage for the respective Global Transaction Sales in the region - Ensure Risk Management matters are addressed promptly and escalate when necessary - Display exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct - Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters effectively - Serve as a Director of the Board in relevant entities if applicable Qualifications: - University degree holder - 4+ years of relevant Transaction Banking sales experience, preferably in an international/regional environment - Strong communication, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills Additional Details: Standard Chartered is an international bank focused on driving commerce and prosperity through diversity.
