Director Engineering -IOT platform

As a lead in IOT platform leadership at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from Software conceptualization for new chipsets to product commercialization with customers. Your hands-on tech experience in Embedded Systems, proficiency in coding, design, and implementation will be crucial. You will need to have coding experience in C/C+, Android/Linux, Drivers/Frameworks, and end-to-end software stack. Additionally, you are expected to lead multiple projects simultaneously on Qualcomm chipsets, collaborating with Project Engineers, Technology Leads, Product Marketing, and business teams. Key Responsibilities: - Experience managing multiple project life cycles from Software conceptualization to product commercialization - Hands-on tech experience in Embedded Systems with proficiency in coding, design, and implementation - Leading multiple projects concurrently on Qualcomm chipsets in collaboration with cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Strong development experience with C/C++ and good programming skills in Embedded Systems - Past experience working in Android/Linux/Windows areas for Embedded Products - Strong communication and analytics skills - Understanding of SOC systems, bring-up concepts, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines - Hands-on experience with troubleshooting software and system issues - Strong aptitude, quick learner, self-motivated, and willing to work across various technology areas - Deductive problem-solving skills and good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - 4+ years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
