Digital Transformation Leader - (Manufacturing)

Role Overview: You are being hired as a CIO (Manufacturing) for a leading automotive components manufacturer based in Chennai. As a CIO, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement the company's IT strategy aligned with business goals. You will lead digital transformation initiatives, oversee SAP S/4 HANA implementation, manage IT infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity frameworks, and ensure business continuity planning. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams, engage with C-level executives, and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the company's IT strategy aligned with business goals. - Lead digital transformation initiatives leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics, including IIOT. - Oversee SAP S/4 HANA implementation, optimization, and integration with business processes. - Manage and enhance IT infrastructure to support scalable and secure operations. - Strengthen cybersecurity frameworks to protect organizational data and mitigate risks. - Ensure business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms are in place. - Drive IT governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements. - Lead cross-functional teams, mentoring and developing IT talent. - Engage with C-level executives and board members, presenting IT roadmaps and strategies. - Balance Run the Business (RTB) and Change the Business (CTB) priorities effectively, ensuring operational excellence while driving strategic transformation. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to align IT initiatives with the latest advancements in manufacturing. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 18-23 years of experience in IT leadership roles within the manufacturing sector (preferred: Automobile / Auto Components). - Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, AI-driven solutions, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. - Demonstrated experience in balancing RTB and CTB responsibilities with a strong track record in digital transformation and IT-enabled business growth. - Strategic thinker with deep knowledge of the latest tech trends shaping the manufacturing industry. - Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills. - Ability to work with senior leadership, board members, and external partners. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. - Chennai-based candidates are preferred.,
