Digital Technology Analyst, Quality Assurance

You will be part of the Information Technology Department at the Bangalore office in Karnataka, India, working for Ralph Lauren Corporation. Ralph Lauren is a global leader known for its premium lifestyle products in apparel, accessories, home, fragrances, and hospitality. As an Automation QA Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain automated test scripts for the Retail POS application. You will collaborate closely with QA, product management, and development teams to ensure the high quality of POS software releases. By automating tests to validate functionality, performance, and security, you will contribute to delivering a robust and scalable retail platform. Your key duties and responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand application functionality, executing test cases to verify POS software performance, and integrating automated testing into the CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing test results, identifying defects, performing various types of testing (functional, regression, load, performance), maintaining testing frameworks and tools, and staying updated on the latest testing tools and trends. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in automated testing, particularly in retail POS systems, proficiency in automation tools like UFT One, Selenium, or Appium, hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or Python, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and knowledge of test frameworks and API testing tools. You should also possess experience in agile methodologies, 3 years of automation development experience, and a track record of test automation in a fast-paced environment. Apart from technical skills, soft skills such as problem-solving, effective communication, prioritization, collaboration, and a passion for quality assurance are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with retail compliance standards, experience in testing Desktop and Mobile POS applications, knowledge of UX/UI principles related to POS systems, and experience with performance testing tools will be beneficial qualifications.,
